Good sleep hygiene doesn’t just mean sleeping with clean sheets, it also involves routines that help facilitate the body’s circadian rhythm and reduce environmental stressors that could be affecting your slumber.
Simply knowing how certain behaviors affect your sleep patterns may help you adjust your daytime behaviors to improve sleep later. You can support your sleep and your health just by making positive changes in your daily routine.

I recently got new bedding, and I finally got used to the new texture! It made my bed so much more comfortable now and I am sleeping way better!
I’m washing my bedding now, I know clean sheets make me excited to end the night!
#8 is a must for me!! I find it really helps calm my mind & help me fall into a deep sleep when everything is dark & quiet. It’s crazy how much longer you will stay up looking around at things or listening to sounds!
Tip number 3 has been the biggest help for me. I have a hard time quieting down before bed so I’ve made a conscious effort to set my phone across the room and turn off every screen in my house an hour before bed. If I get bored or restless instead of turning the tv on or scrolling social media I’ve started reading instead which helps me settle into bed quicker and wake up feeling more well rested!
Number 9 has helped my sleep a lot
I recently invested in a nice mattress and bedding this was my first time splurging on something like this and it has made a huge difference I used to wake up multiple times a night and now I sleep through the whole night.
